   Just wanna inform you’ll that the setlist will not include anything post “Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.” The tour is focusing only on the ’80s Maiden material, so don’t expect songs like Holy Smoke, Bring You Daughter … To The Slaughter, Fear Of The Dark, Afraid To Shoot Strangers and Be Quick Or Be Dead unless they play it in a special encore or by request. As per the concept on which this tour is based, the opening track should be “Aces High”

   Yes, what you are saying is correct that most of the sogns would be from the 80s.

   However, here’s what Ron Smallwood, Iron Maiden’s manager had to say:

   Rod Smallwood, Iron Maiden’s Manager, further commented; “Following Bruce’s various hints from on stage this last year about our plans for 2008 (”We are taking some time off to build some pyramids!”), fans have been pestering me for details of the tour and especially asking which songs from that era will be played. That may be as easy as a run in the hills but we will keep our aces close to our chest on this issue. I know it would only take a couple of minutes but at this stage of planning, I’d have to be clairvoyant to know what they will do. I’m sure though it will be no revelation for you that we intend to make up for those wasted years by visiting a large number of hallowed metal venues around the world. Historically ‘Powerslave’ was an incredibly important album for the band and it would be madness if we didn’t give the fans a taste of the full on Iron Maiden show from that time. With our jumbo there really is no rime nor reason why the band cannot now visit fans almost everywhere as many have been real troopers to have waited this long. Heaven only knows what the band will choose but if l could and did tell you now l would have to shoot you! You’ll all have to be patient and see. But it will be spectacular. No fear!!”

    Hey was dere went from Pune 2 see dem…was standing for d whole day…so by the time Iron maiden Hit d stage…my body was aching 2 death…but den wen IM started off wit Aces High their music was lik a Morphine Bruce was simply Mindblowing tremendous energy…Trooper was lik heaven…nd also saw Eddie..! Up the Irons …All in all even if dey had kept d tiks for 5 grands it was totally worth all that ~~ GO Maidens…! UP THE IRONS \m/!

    I was in the first row of the concert that provided out of the world experience. The sets were much better than in Bangalore. 16 tracks.. didn’t expect that many. Eddie came later with his gun as the crowd couldn’t stop cheering. Bruce also said that the place was called Bombay, now mumbai, but the locals prefer Bombay. He said that this is one of the many times they will visit india. The level of energy was awesome. everytime I think of the way Fear Of the Dark was played and how the crowd sings along… It still gives goosebumps! Nervewreck’s performance was average. Parikrama was awesome. (No comments on the performance of Steve Hariss’ daughter).. But Maiden definitely rocks!

    sadly i was sick at the concert so i had to keep going to puke but i t was still amazing when the first come out i didnt even feel sick it was amazing i made it to the barrier twice man it was amazing i hope they come back next yr this yr ill be too busy after this 🙁

    Nervewreck perfomance was awesome man, but they got booed anyway. arre mumbai crowds. hehe. Parikrama, always awesome. lauren harris, sexy, hot (that’s it). what a show man. was standing in line for 3 hrs outside and another 5 hrs inside. worth it. will upload the pics later.

    It was the best Maiden show I’ve seen (my third). It was almost the set they played on the World Slavery Tour 1985 – and Bruce wore the original mask from the 1985 tour during Powerslave, one of my favourite tracks from the evening.

    Dave Murray kicked arse, although sound was not as goood as bangalore. Still the band was tighter than ever. The mmmmmmmmmbay show really rocked hard. Dint come out of shock for atleast a day. The lineup was absolutely splendid. Never thought they’d play moonchild & madness. My necks still aching.

    the show ws one of its kind…
    for me and i guess for almost all present thr…it ws a feeling of “dream coming true”
    the videos i have been watching on my screen wr right infront of my eyes…
    they wr makin the crowd go crazy…

    i ws nt in banglore…but i think this mumbai show ws fuc*in awesome…n much better dan what happened in banglore….

    the reason being the stage deco…nd the themes…

    this is the 1st time iron maiden used the concept of themes while performing…

    in none of thr videos till date….u wil find the themes on the backdrop…
    that ws something really exictin…even if u view pics n videos u wil agree wid wat i say…

    nd i dont kno whether it hapnd in banglore or not…but Eddie on stage ws a fuc*in surprise element…it ws unbelievable…no1 expected dat kinda stuff….

    i ws quite nar the stage…i have recording of fear of the dark complete…6 mins…but since its DG cam recordin its 184 MB…the pics r too gud…though many of them came blur…but the guys whu wr thr kno it ws not possible to take many stills…hehe…

    thr ws a huge sea wave when aces high begun…

    in merely 15 mins..every t-shirt u touched ws wet wid sweat…

    the show ws one of its kind…nd we shud feel very lucky dat v Indians sawit first dan rest of the world…

    FREAK!!! didnt want to miss this man.. however didnt miss IRON MAIDEN at Bangalore last year..but just to keep you guys posted- MEGADETH and MOTORHEAD are gonna rock Bangalore on the 14th of March 2008.. so the guys who missed Maiden, I suggest you’ll not miss this show

    watelse can i say…maiden ruled in mumbai.amazing tracks, great energy… Felt it frm the first row.. could have done with a betr openin than what nervewreck provided while lauren harris was singin like a banshee o somethin (she’s hot tho!!):D gr8 work by parikrama!! super openin.. Bruce gt a bit borin frankly, talkin abt stuff like bombays name n all dat..but his performance was electrifyin!! Mumbai couldnt have had a betr nite!!!! Fear of the dark–NO WORDS!!! i stil keep reminiscin bout the freakn EXPERIENCE man!! wat a nite!only problem was i couldnt get ny pics.. stupidly believed they wud confiscate them o somethin!! cant wait for their next concert!!
