Search Conference Chennai

SearchCamp Chennai, is scheduled for 6th & 7th October at Tidel Park, Chennai.

It is being organized by The Knowledge Foundation, which had earlier credits for Barcamp Chennai, Blogcamp, WikiCamp.in and Proto.in.

SearchCamp is basically an unconference on the lines of the above events, the topic of focus of this event is Search Engine Marketing.

The list of participants is here, & the topics are here. From the official site SearchCamp.in

SearchCamp is a two day event aimed to bring together the best minds from the Search Engine Marketing space to talk about search engine advertising, including optimization and marketing issues. This event is the first of its kind in India and will feature workshops, debates and keynotes on the present state and evolution of Search Engine Marketing.

With so many ‘SEO Specialists‘, & ‘SEO Experts‘, ‘SEO Pro‘, ‘SEM Analysts‘, & ‘SEO Managers‘, figuring in the participants list, I am wondering as to what I should call myself?
Hey…I did not come across any ‘SEO Gruru‘ or ‘SEM Guru‘, in that list. Maybe we shall have a participant coming from the US of A for this Chennai Search Conference, who shall call himself a SEO Guru, waiting for that one..lol
Surprisingly there is no SEO Consultant or SEM consultant ……yet!

Hmmmm….so, I guess, I should call myself SEO Grandad or SEM Grandaddy? :)
Nah, when we have successful SEM people like Vivek Bhargava of Communicate2, I will be only a ‘Simple SEO guy’, :) That’s better !

Looking forward to be there in Chennai & get unorganized!

Google Maps embed into your blog

Now, you can embed Google Maps into your blog or website, just by Copy Pasting, same as we can do for YouTube videos.

Go to Google maps, select you final destination, location which you need to view. On the right hand side you shall find a “Link to this Page” link with a symbol of a ‘link’. Click on it to get the iframe code, which you can just copy & paste into your blog or website.

Here’s one of the London Eye.
